Skilled Mason Yard Worker

The Skilled Mason Yard Worker plays a key role in the daily operations of our stone yard by safely operating heavy equipment, managing inventory, and assisting customers with masonry supply needs. This hands-on position requires a strong focus on accuracy, customer service, and equipment handling. The ideal candidate has a working knowledge of masonry materials, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in maintaining an organized and efficient yard.

JOB SUMMARY:

  • Assisting customers

  • Safely load and unload masonry materials onto customer vehicles and company trucks using forklifts or other equipment.

  • Prepare and fulfill orders based on customer specifications and internal requests.

  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, reporting discrepancies and assisting with restocking.

  • Organize materials in the yard to ensure accessibility and a clean, hazard-free workspace.

  • Assist in receiving and inspecting deliveries of stone, brick, sand, and other mason supplies.

  • Support general yard operations, including light maintenance and cleanup as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

COMPETENCIES:

  • Experience with and/or knowledge of mason supplies

  • Forklift experience

  • Basic math skills

  • Good computer skills

  • Ability to lift 100 lbs

  • Bilingual preferred

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
