INSIDE STONE SALES REP

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The sale of mason materials to homeowners and contractors

  • Available on site to answer questions from customers, answer the phone and make cold calls

  • Provide customer service in the sale of the proper products

  • Identify and introduce cross sell opportunities to grow the business, understanding and leveraging all aspects of the sales process

  • Provide quotations and write contracts

  • Proper use of Great Plains POS and Lead Management System (LMS)

  • Set up deliveries and dispatch them

  • Keep shelves stocked and the showroom clean

  • Blueprint takeoff and reading

  • Purchase materials, check inventory

  • Check cash and credit customer list

  • Attend after-hours networking events and trade shows at different locations

  • Continue product knowledge

  • Miscellaneous duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication skills including written, oral and presentation

  • Good interpersonal skills, professional and reliable

  • Ability to meet deadlines and exercise good judgment and problem solving

  • Flexibility to work weekends and after-hours networking events

  • Maintain customer satisfaction by being responsive and working well with all departments

  • Exercise good judgement and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Excel & Word

  • Ability to read a tape measure

  • Must maintain a clean and valid driver’s license
